The 2024 show brought 2,193 exhibitors from 51 countries and about 120,000 visitors from 149 countries to the grounds. Germany supplies the core audience, but 38 percent of visitors came from abroad, led by the Netherlands, China, Poland and Austria, and the group from outside Europe grew fastest between 2022 and 2024.

The crowd is working farmers and the people who sell to and advise them. In DLG's visitor survey, more than half came from farm businesses and three in four called themselves decision-makers. Cattle draw the most interest, followed by pigs and poultry. The show covers the whole production chain, from genetics and feed to housing, milking, manure handling and processing, and it shares the halls with EnergyDecentral, which brings biogas, solar and storage suppliers to the same audience.

The closest European rivals run every year and lean on their home markets. SPACE in Rennes each September had 1,019 exhibitors in 2026 and draws heavily on Brittany's pig, poultry and dairy producers, which makes it the better stop for suppliers selling into French farms. Sommet de l'Elevage in the Massif Central each October is built around cattle breeding and beef herds.

Poultry and pig specialists also weigh VIV Europe in Utrecht, a smaller and more concentrated meeting of integrators, feed mills and processors with 461 exhibitors in 2026. Outside Europe, IPPE in Atlanta each January is where the North American poultry, feed and meat chain meets, and World Dairy Expo in Madison pairs a dairy cattle show with a trade fair for US dairy farmers.

EuroTier is the one place where every species, the global equipment makers and buyers from well over 100 countries are in the same halls, so it is the show for companies presenting a full product range or looking for export distributors. In the years between, DLG's Agritechnica fills the same grounds with crop and machinery suppliers.

EuroTier is the trip for livestock equipment, feed and genetics companies and the farmers and dealers who buy from them, when they want every species and every major manufacturer under one roof.

Who exhibits

About 60 percent of exhibitors come from outside Germany, with China, the Netherlands and France sending the largest groups. The halls are arranged by species and production step. Dairy technology from Lely, Nedap and CowManager fills the cattle halls, housing and climate specialists such as Big Dutchman, Schauer Agrotronic and WEDA cover pigs and poultry, and feed and animal health suppliers like Vilofoss and MSD Tiergesundheit sit alongside. Biogas and solar firms such as 2G Energy exhibit in the EnergyDecentral hall.

EuroTier 2026

The 2026 show runs under the theme Intelligence in animal farming, with robotics, sensors and automated barn control as the thread through every species. New this year is the EuroTier Milky Way, a curated route through Halls 11, 12 and 13 that follows dairy production from genetics and grazing to milking and milk processing.

DLG-VetCon, a two-day convention for large-animal and herd-health vets, makes its debut alongside the fair, the International Cattle & Pig Event moves to the Wednesday, and a hybrid charity auction on the final day sells lots donated by exhibitors.

  • Dairy visitors can walk the Milky Way route through Halls 11, 12 and 13 in order and finish at the Barn Robot Event in Hall 13, where milking robot makers run live demonstrations.
  • Farmers from Great Britain, Ireland and Poland should come on the Wednesday: International Farmers Day gives them free entry with a code from the ticket shop, and the International Cattle & Pig Event runs the same day.
  • Poultry professionals should arrive a day early for the International Poultry Conference on the eve of the fair, which can be booked together with admission for the opening day.
  • Large farm operators and buyers can apply to the DLG-AgriLeaders Club for free admission on all days, VIP parking and a lounge on the grounds.

Exhibiting

Stand space is sold per square meter in row, corner, peninsula and island layouts, plus a mandatory media package and a registration fee for each company. The regular rate closed in January, so companies booking now pay the late rate. Full-service packages include stand construction for stands of 12 to 50 square meters, and start-ups under ten years old can take a turnkey six-square-meter stand on DLG's start-up pavilion.
