EXPO CHICAGO brings international contemporary and modern art galleries into a market anchored by Chicago and the Midwest. In 2025, 170 galleries from 29 countries met more than 35,000 visitors, including private collectors, museum curators and institutional leaders. The fair’s institutional connections are part of its commercial character: purchase prizes place work in museum collections, while the Curatorial Forum and Directors Summit bring museum professionals into the same week as gallery presentations.
