Farwest Show

The Farwest Show is the nursery and greenhouse trade show of the Oregon Association of Nurseries, held every late August at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland since 1973. It is a growers' show: roughly half the exhibiting companies are wholesale nurseries, many of them from the Willamette Valley. Oregon sells more conifers, shade trees, flowering trees and deciduous shrubs than any other state, and the show floor reflects that. The rest of the floor is the supply side growers depend on, from containers and growing media to greenhouse structures, crop protection and labels.
