Leipzig Book Fair

Leipzig Book Fair puts the reader at the center of the publishing business. In 2026, the fair, Manga Comic Con and the Leipzig liest reading festival together attracted 313,000 visitors across the exhibition grounds and the city, up from 296,000 in 2025. Publishers use this spring gathering to introduce new books, put authors in front of audiences and sell directly. Booksellers, educators and the media share the exhibition halls with the public.
