How it compares

CMEF is the main medical equipment fair in China and the better trip for anyone who needs the large hospital equipment brands, imaging and the national distributor network in one place. MFC is much smaller and can be covered in a day or two. Its exhibitors are mostly small and mid-sized manufacturers looking for distributors and export partners, which suits a foreign buyer sourcing consumables, rapid tests or home-care devices.

For components and contract manufacturing, Medtec China in Shanghai each September is the specialist event, with materials, precision processing, OEM services and testing spread over several halls. MFC's medical manufacturing zone covers the same ground on a smaller scale, so it works best for an engineer who also wants to meet finished-device makers on the same visit.

MEDICA in Düsseldorf each November is the global comparison and the place to see international brands next to Chinese ones. MFC lets a buyer meet Chinese suppliers near their factories, and the same Messe Düsseldorf team in China sells stands for both. Medical Fair Asia in Singapore is the better choice for Southeast Asian hospital and distribution contacts.

REHACARE CHINA runs in the same venue on the same days, so rehabilitation, assistive technology and elderly-care suppliers are on site during an MFC visit.

MFC is the right trip for distributors and hospital buyers sourcing Chinese rapid tests, consumables and home-care devices, and for device makers looking for suppliers in the Suzhou and Shanghai manufacturing region.

Who exhibits

The floor is almost entirely Chinese, with many exhibitors from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong. Medical consumables are the largest group, with makers such as Zhende Medical and Shandong Ande Healthcare. The IVD zone gathers more than 60 test and analyzer companies, including Getein Biotech, Burning Rock Dx and Biobase. Home-care brands such as Hanvon Health and Pango sit near suppliers of parts and production equipment such as AccuPath, Chung Pak batteries and Lingke Ultrasonics. A few regional trade-promotion agencies and industry media also take stands.

Medical Fair China 2027

MFC 2027 returns to Suzhou International Expo Center with a target of about 380 exhibitors on 18,000 square meters and 12 concurrent forums. The organizer's focus areas are IVD and precision medicine, home care and health monitoring, AI and digital health, smart manufacturing, and minimally invasive and interventional devices.

The main change is a stronger push to bring in overseas buyers and arrange meetings between them and exhibitors. That builds on 2026, when 320 exhibitors took part, overseas visitors doubled, and the forum program included a Kazakhstan medical procurement forum where hospital managers met Chinese suppliers directly.

• Pre-register online before the show: early registrants got access to selected forums in 2026, and the registration system suggests exhibitors that match the products you list.
• Buyers working on Central Asia should look for the Kazakhstan procurement forum, which put Kazakh hospital managers and buyers in the same room as Chinese suppliers in 2026.
• Plan for REHACARE CHINA in the same halls: rehabilitation and elderly-care suppliers are a short walk from the MFC home-care zone, so one trip covers both.
• Arrive on the first day: in 2026 it carried the forums aimed at foreign visitors, FTR4H on digital health with Chinese-English interpretation and the IVD global expansion forum.

Exhibiting

Stands are sold as bare space from 36 square meters or as shell-scheme packages from 9 square meters, through Messe Düsseldorf's Beijing office. With exhibitors from only five countries and regions in 2025, the show pays off most for a Chinese manufacturer that wants to meet the organizer's overseas buyer delegations, or for a foreign supplier of materials and components looking for Chinese device makers as customers.
