Brands come to write orders and find new stockists in the Spanish market, and the floor leans heavily toward Spanish labels, which made up 60% of the July 2026 line-up.
The show runs twice a year. The February show sits on the same days as Bisutex and Intergift, which turns the IFEMA grounds into one large fashion, accessories and gift market. In 2026 the summer show moved from September to July so buyers could see Spring/Summer collections earlier.
It is getting smaller and more selective. The September 2025 show had more than 300 brands from 23 countries; the two 2026 shows each had a little over 200, picked for collection quality, and the July show drew trade visitors from 72 countries with help from a hosted buyers programme aimed at Latin America, Europe and Asia.

- This show: MOMADMadrid, twice a year
For a Spanish retailer, MOMAD is the domestic buying trip: Spanish-made womenswear, occasionwear, swimwear and footwear, in one hall, with the brands that already sell in the market. The bigger international fairs come at nearly the same time of year, so the choice is usually about which market the buyer needs.
Who's Next in Paris opens the January season with a much wider European spread of women's fashion and accessories. It is the better trip for a buyer hunting new international labels; MOMAD is the better one for a store whose customers want Spanish brands and who wants to meet those brands' sales teams directly.
Footwear buyers face the clearest choice. MICAM Milano is the specialist shoe fair and the place to see the whole Italian and international range. MOMAD fits stores that buy shoes alongside clothing and bags from the same suppliers, with makers such as RIA Menorca, Calzados Victoria and Alhamas on the floor.
Pitti Uomo in Florence is the trip for premium menswear. MOMAD covers men's lines too, but its center of gravity is women's fashion for independent multi-brand stores.
In February, the strongest case for MOMAD is the combination: a boutique that also sells costume jewelry, bags or gifts can see Bisutex and Intergift on the same grounds during the same days.
MOMAD is the trip for boutique, shoe shop and department store buyers who stock Spanish fashion, footwear and swimwear and want to meet those brands in one hall, twice a year.
Who exhibits
Expect Spanish brands first: contemporary and casual labels such as Vilagallo, Alba Conde and NKN Nekane, occasionwear from Colour Nude, Sonia Peña and Mariquita Trasquilá, and footwear from RIA Menorca and Calzados Victoria, with international names such as ECCO, Saint James and Rinascimento. Swimwear and resortwear are a strength, helped by the Canary Islands collective. Agency showrooms in Espacio Metro bring premium European brands such as Gardeur and Cinzia Rocca, and the EGO area holds first-time designers.

MOMAD 2027
The February 2027 show runs in Hall 3 at IFEMA MADRID, alongside Bisutex and the only Intergift of the year, which makes it the biggest of MOMAD's two dates for buyers who cover fashion, accessories and gifts together.
It follows the first July show, which brought more than 200 brands, about 50 of them new, and a curated layout with a Best Sellers area and a Focus Brands area for first-time exhibitors. The 17th MOMAD Talents by ISEM competition will give two new labels their own stands in February.
- If you buy from outside Spain, ask a brand you already stock to put you forward for the International Guest Program: exhibitors can invite foreign clients with flights and hotel, more of them the larger the stand, and the names have to be in by 30 November.
- Plan time for Bisutex and Intergift on the same days if your store sells jewelry, bags or gifts; the February MOMAD is the one date in the year when all three run together.
- Head to Espacio Metro for premium labels sold through Spanish agencies; in February 2026 six showrooms presented 27 brands for the following autumn and winter season, and the agents can open accounts for several brands at once.
- The Conscious Boutique groups brands that use certified or recycled materials, which saves time for stores building a sustainable range.
Exhibiting
IFEMA MADRID selects exhibitors on collection quality, sustainability and craft. Modular stands start at 12 m² and space-only plots at 30 m²; young brands can take a 12 m² stand in EGO for up to three shows, and companies with proven sustainability credentials can apply for the Sustainable Experience area. Half of the space must be paid by 15 November and the rest by 15 December. A stand pays off best for brands that want independent Spanish multi-brand stores and Latin American buyers as stockists.
