The Nashville show is new: it opened in July 2026 with 162 exhibitors and 36 free keynotes and classes, and returns to the same building in late July.

The crowd is the Middle Tennessee building trade. General contractors, home builders, remodelers and subcontractors walk the floor alongside architects, engineers, developers, facility and property managers and city and county staff. Registration is free for industry professionals, and the audience comes from Nashville and the surrounding region.

Expect a working show built around products and services that contractors buy every week, such as windows, doors, roofing, tools, equipment rental, financing and software, with morning classes on running a construction business.

How it compares

  1. This show: Nashville Build ExpoNashville

Build Expo USA runs a circuit of regional shows with the same format and class program, so the main choice for a supplier is which cities to work. Charlotte Build Expo covers the Carolinas in late May and Atlanta Build Expo covers Georgia in September. Nashville sits between them on the calendar, and a supplier with a Southeast territory can book all three as one summer run. A company with customers only in Tennessee and Kentucky gets the most from Nashville alone.

For residential suppliers, the Southeast Building Conference in Orlando the week before is the stronger draw for Florida home builders and their associations. Nashville has a broader floor that also brings in commercial contractors, design professionals and property managers.

The NAHB International Builders' Show in Las Vegas is the place for national product launches and meetings with production builders' purchasing teams. Nashville Build Expo reaches the local owners, project managers and trades who rarely travel to a national show, and does it in two short days close to home.

The right trip for Middle Tennessee contractors, builders and property managers who want to see local suppliers and take free business classes in one day, and for suppliers who sell to them.

Who exhibits

Exhibitors are mostly companies that sell directly to contractors and building owners. The 2026 floor included LeafFilter, MAC Metal Architectural, Lifetime Tool & Building Products, Leak Gopher, Bad Dog Tools and lenders such as LendingOne. Early 2027 bookings show the same mix: CraneWorks for crane and equipment rental, Champion Windows & Home Exteriors, FenceTrac, HFS Home Improvement Loans and Advanced Safety Electronics. Visitors find more local dealers, installers and service firms than national manufacturers' corporate teams.

Nashville Build Expo 2027

The 2027 show is Nashville's second. It moves from early July to the last week of the month and from Hall D to Hall C at Music City Center. The organizer promises a larger class schedule than last year, and the first session posted is a class on cold-formed steel digital manufacturing from Howick, which makes steel framing machines. The exhibitor list is still filling up, and the full directory and floor plan appear in the Build Expo USA app closer to the show.

  • Free classes start half an hour before the floor opens each morning, so you can take the first session of the day and still have the full day with exhibitors.
  • The floor closes in mid-afternoon on both days and exhibitors begin packing at closing time on day two, so hold important supplier conversations for the morning or early afternoon.
  • Build Expo warns of scammers offering an official Nashville hotel block, so book downtown rooms directly with the hotel.

Exhibiting

Booths are sold in standard sizes from a single 10x10 up to 20x30, with corner booths at a small premium, and the same sales team handles every Build Expo city. Move-in is the day before the show and teardown waits until the floor closes on day two. A booth pays off for companies that sell to local contractors, remodelers and property managers and can follow up leads in the Nashville area; sponsorship adds magazine ads in Construction Monthly, email features and entrance signage.
