It takes Pavilion 7 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles every November during the week of the Congrès des Maires de France, so mayors, deputy mayors, municipal managers and public buyers from every region are already in Paris. Last year it drew 65,672 visitors, up from 60,285 in 2024, and 1,380 exhibitors.
The floor is organized around what French local authorities spend on: building and urban planning, transport, environment, public safety, energy, digital services, culture and events, health and social care, economic development and municipal finance. Two smaller shows share the hall and the badge, the Salon des Sports et Parasports and the Salon de la Biodiversité et du Génie écologique. This year's show is the first since the 2026 municipal elections, and the organizer has shaped it around newly elected teams setting priorities and investment plans for the 2026 to 2032 term.

For most suppliers to French local government, the choice is between this show and a specialist meeting for one municipal service. The Salon de l'AMIF is the closest like-for-like option: a two-day June show in the same exhibition center for mayors from the Paris region, with 12,000 visitors and more than 250 exhibitors in 2026. A company whose customers sit entirely in Île-de-France can reach them there with a smaller stand; one that sells across France needs November, when mayors of small rural communes travel to Paris for the congress.
Water and wastewater suppliers to municipal utilities meet their buyers each January in Rennes at the Carrefour des Gestions Locales de l'Eau, where the program goes much further into water policy and engineering. Paysalia in Lyon, held every other year with 1,019 exhibitors in 2025, is the show for parks departments and landscape contractors. Pollutec Lyon brings 2,000 environmental exhibitors to an audience that is mostly industrial, with local authorities alongside.
Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona serves city technology firms looking for clients abroad. The Salon des Maires is the better trip when a product touches several municipal services, or when the target is the thousands of small and mid-sized communes whose elected officials rarely attend sector shows.
The Salon des Maires is the trip for any company selling to French local authorities that wants to meet mayors, elected officials and municipal managers from across the country in a single week.
Who exhibits
The exhibitor list reads like the supplier base of a French town hall. Construction and network groups such as Colas, VINCI Construction, SPIE Batignolles and Enedis sit near public lenders such as La Banque des Territoires and Caisse d'Epargne, the public purchasing agency UGAP and municipal software maker Berger-Levrault. Hundreds of smaller firms show playgrounds, street furniture, bike shelters, signage and emergency equipment, and many companies on this year's list are exhibiting for the first time.

Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales 2026
This year's show comes months after the municipal elections, so many visitors will be newly elected mayors and councillors building their first budgets. The organizer has added two visitor routes, one for new elected officials and one for municipal managers, three new themed areas on land and resources, mobility and logistics, and risk prevention and security, and two labs on local economic development and on financing. A social innovation day runs on Wednesday and a youth day closes the show on Thursday.
- The Congrès des Maires runs at the same time in Pavilion 4 and is closed to anyone without an AMF delegate pass. Nine in ten congress delegates also walk the exhibition, so elected officials come through Pavilion 7 between congress sessions all day long.
- Finalists for the Prix de l'Innovation Territoriale pitch to a jury of mayors on the opening day, and the winners are announced the same afternoon. The session is a quick shortlist of the year's new municipal products.
- The Vis ta Ville areas stage a connected town hall, school, health center, station, market and crisis room fitted out by exhibitors. They show how equipment from different suppliers works together in a real municipal setting.
- Talks are free and open to every badge holder, and most are recorded for Maires.tv, so a meeting can take priority and the session can be watched later.
Exhibiting
Stands are sold through Infopro Digital's sales team, organized by sector. Exhibitors can also sponsor a speaking slot of 30 to 45 minutes in a Lab, an Atmosphère or the Arène, or stage products inside a Vis ta Ville scene. Entering the Prix de l'Innovation Territoriale is free for any exhibitor with a confirmed stand, and finalists get signage and press coverage during the show. The show pays off best for suppliers with a product that municipalities buy directly and a sales team ready to follow up the leads.
