In Atlanta in 2026, the gathering drew companies from more than 50 countries and represented more than 1,280 businesses. Its center of gravity remains North American cable and broadband, with Spectrum, Comcast, Rogers and other operators supplying the practical context for discussions about reliability, field operations and the customer experience.

The former Cable-Tec Expo has broadened well beyond cable plant. Fiber, Wi-Fi, cloud-native networks and AI now sit alongside access infrastructure, test equipment and construction suppliers. Spectrum and AMC Global Media co-hosted the 2026 show, connecting network delivery to streaming and entertainment. That combination makes TechExpo useful for teams deciding how new technology will work across an installed network, from the outside plant to the connected home. The access product is considered alongside the services, operations and infrastructure it supports.

How it compares

  1. ANGA COMCologne, 20K
  2. This show: SCTE TechExpo26Atlanta
  3. Network XVienna

ANGA COM in Cologne is the closest European comparison. Its mix of network operators, vendors and content providers makes it a natural choice for broadband distribution, fiber rollout and media relationships in Germany and neighboring markets. The conference also places broadcasters and telecommunications policy beside infrastructure. A supplier selling into those European networks can find a more directly relevant customer setting there, while TechExpo puts North American operator engineering and implementation at the center of the conversation.

Network X takes a wider European telco view, bringing mobile, fixed connectivity, AI, data centers and network convergence together. It suits a team weighing several access technologies or looking for partnerships across the telecommunications stack. TechExpo is particularly useful when the questions involve operating broadband networks already in service: how to improve reliability, automate work, support field teams and deliver a consistent experience across access networks.

The choice comes down to the customer and the deployment environment. A fiber supplier pursuing European operators has a strong reason to consider ANGA COM; a telco strategy team comparing fixed and mobile architecture can use Network X. TechExpo gives a broadband equipment or operations team a concentrated view of the North American operator ecosystem, while keeping streaming and converged services in that discussion.

TechExpo earns its place on the calendar for teams selling to or operating North American broadband networks, especially where access engineering meets field operations and customer experience.

Who exhibits

The floor joins access equipment to the tools needed to build and maintain a network. Nokia, Adtran, Cisco and Harmonic sit alongside fiber suppliers such as AFL and Corning, while Keysight and VIAVI bring test and measurement into the mix. EnerSys and HOPPECKE add the power side of network reliability. This is a useful combination for visitors comparing an infrastructure change with its practical effects on installation, testing and ongoing operation.
