For a major machine-tool purchase, SIMTOS offers a deeper specialist comparison. Its pavilions separate metal cutting and die and mold technology, tooling and measurement, welding, and press and forming equipment. Its April calendar makes it a different planning point from AMXPO’s fall show. A team choosing machining capacity across many competing brands has a strong reason to make SIMTOS its principal sourcing trip.

AW (Smart Factory + Automation World) in Seoul is more concentrated on factory automation, machine vision, smart manufacturing and logistics. It brought together 500 exhibitors in 2026. Its March schedule and dedicated vision and automation shows suit controls engineers and teams whose project starts with sensors, software or material handling.

AMXPO makes the most sense when the buying brief crosses those boundaries. A plant modernization project can involve machining equipment, bearings and components, maintenance monitoring, storage and process equipment as well as AI. ORSKOREA brings precision grinding machines and spindles, while WOOJIN’s measurement and condition-monitoring systems address plant reliability. InnoKeep adds AI-assisted maintenance management to that engineering mix. JRT’s industrial robots and Kardex Korea’s storage systems extend the floor toward automated production and logistics, alongside Doosan Enerbility’s plant equipment. This is a supplier mix for connecting equipment decisions to factory operations, with Korean manufacturers at its center and international companies participating through the same industrial categories.

AMXPO 2026

AMXPO 2026 links its machinery floor with the Industrial AI Expo and a conference program centered on physical AI and autonomous manufacturing. Insight Connect brings together industrial AI implementation, robot safety and digital twins; the Industrial AI & Manufacturing Innovation Conference adds cases from LG CNS, Microsoft, Hyundai Rotem and Doosan Digital Innovation. M.AX CON puts Korea’s manufacturing AI strategy alongside the supplier discussions. Technology seminars bring the focus back to practical operations, including steam recovery, storage and maintenance management.

• Pair InnoKeep’s CMMS demonstration with its maintenance-first technology seminar to compare the shop-floor recording workflow with the implementation approach.
• For equipment reliability, combine WOOJIN’s vibration and gas-leak monitoring with ORSKOREA’s grinding and spindle engineering; the two conversations address different parts of keeping production stable.

The stand options run from space only to shell scheme and premium packages, each including a digital showroom listing. The higher-specification package adds wall graphics and lighting, while space-only participation requires a larger footprint than a basic shell stand.
