Its three core segments, Renewable Energy Asia, Energy Efficiency Asia and Energy Storage Asia, connect solar and battery suppliers with utilities, project developers, industrial energy users and the public agencies shaping Thailand's power market.

The scope reaches well beyond photovoltaic equipment. Cogeneration, compressed air, HVAC controls, hydrogen, waste-to-energy and battery recycling sit alongside inverters and solar modules. The conference program gives that equipment a regional context: the 2026 show paired discussions on industrial decarbonization and clean heat with urban energy, hydrogen and storage forums. Data centers and digital energy management have become part of the mix, too. For a buyer responsible for an entire site's energy performance, that breadth makes Bangkok a useful place to compare generation, consumption and resilience together.

How it compares

  1. Intersolar EuropeMunich
  2. This show: Asia Sustainable Energy WeekBangkok, 25K

Solar & Storage Live Thailand is the more concentrated Bangkok alternative for an installer, EPC or asset owner whose brief centers on solar and batteries. Its BITEC program follows rooftop and utility-scale solar, storage, grid infrastructure and installer training. A team evaluating installation methods or building a Thai solar sales channel can spend more of its visit among those specific communities. ASEW draws the comparison wider, bringing industrial heat, building efficiency, hydrogen and waste-to-energy into the same sourcing trip.

Intersolar Europe in Munich serves a different commercial purpose. Its photovoltaic supplier base and European project audience make it a strong choice for global component comparisons, distribution agreements and solar business models. The parallel exhibitions of The smarter E Europe extend that visit into batteries, charging and energy management. ASEW is the closer fit when the questions concern Southeast Asian industrial customers, Thai project partners and the regional policy environment. The decision is less about which floor has more equipment than which market, and which combination of energy problems, your team needs to understand.

ASEW is the right Bangkok trip for teams sourcing solar and storage alongside the efficiency, industrial heat and policy expertise needed to run a Southeast Asian energy project.

Who exhibits

The 2026 participant mix put solar and electrical equipment beside industrial suppliers and research organizations. Solis, Sungrow, GoodWe and Huawei were joined by Delta Electronics Thailand, Bender and Bosch. That combination points to a floor where generation hardware, controls and plant electrical systems overlap. ATESS added another storage name, while Thai agencies and universities gave the show a connection to local implementation and research. The mix suits buyers whose specification crosses several energy disciplines.

Asia Sustainable Energy Week 2027

ASEW 2027 returns to QSNCC with stand bookings open and more than 70% of its floor space reserved in the opening sales announcement. Its commercial focus brings technology providers together with project owners, utilities and investors across renewable energy, storage, efficiency, hydrogen and smart energy. The previous show expanded the conversation through Carbon Free Valley, Data Center & Cloud District, Startup Alley and the EnergyTech Stage, setting a broader industrial and digital context for the next gathering.

  • Use Energy Efficiency Asia to compare compressed air, motor drives, HVAC controls and cogeneration within the same industrial energy brief.
  • Battery project teams should include Energy Storage Asia's management systems, safety testing and recycling suppliers alongside the storage equipment itself.
  • For building projects, connect the smart-building and energy-management suppliers with the generation and storage exhibitors; ASEW's categories cover both sides of the site's energy balance.

Exhibiting

ASEW suits suppliers whose equipment connects renewable generation with industrial efficiency or energy resilience. General stand proposals and sponsorship packages are handled by the organizer. Swiss companies can also use Swissenviro's pavilion, with packaged space, stand construction and shared services. The pavilion has separate registration terms and requires compliance with Swissness rules.
