In 2026, the show drew 111,312 visitors from 152 countries and brought together 1,500 exhibitors. That international audience sits alongside a supply chain that runs from processors and memory through complete PCs, industrial computers and the power and cooling equipment behind AI infrastructure.

The show’s center of gravity is moving beyond the PC launch cycle. AI computing, robotics and mobility connect semiconductor platforms to machines that operate in factories, cities and logistics. InnoVEX adds founders, investors and young technology companies to the same trip. For a procurement or engineering team, Taipei offers a chance to discuss a finished system and its constituent technologies within one business ecosystem. The exhibition is co-organized by TAITRA and Taipei Computer Association, tying the international buying audience to Taiwan’s technology industry.

How it compares

  1. CESLas Vegas, 148K
  2. embedded worldNuremberg, 36K
  3. This show: COMPUTEX TAIPEITaipei

CES puts technology into a broader consumer and business conversation. Its Las Vegas setting brings product launches, major brands and media into the same orbit across mobility, health, entertainment and the connected home. A company seeking consumer awareness or a wide set of commercial introductions has more reasons to prioritize CES. COMPUTEX is especially useful when the next conversation needs to be with a computer manufacturer, a component supplier or an AI infrastructure partner.

embedded world in Nuremberg goes deeper into the engineering of embedded systems, from modules and operating systems to hardware and software design. Developers and system architects with a specific design problem can use that more concentrated technical setting. COMPUTEX adds a wider view of how embedded products fit into servers, industrial computers, robotics and finished devices.

Taipei’s advantage is the proximity between those product layers and Taiwan’s manufacturing base. A buyer comparing system builders, power suppliers and edge AI companies can cover several parts of a sourcing decision. For investors, InnoVEX places startup pitches and business matchmaking alongside an established hardware supply chain.

COMPUTEX is the right trip for teams building or buying computing systems that need Taiwan’s component, manufacturing and AI infrastructure partners.

Who exhibits

The 2026 mix joined PC brands such as Acer and ASUS with industrial computing suppliers including Advantech and ADLINK. NVIDIA and Supermicro represented compute platforms and AI servers, while Schneider Electric and cooling specialists addressed the infrastructure around them. E Ink brought electronic paper into the picture. Those adjacent businesses matter: a visitor can compare the system, the components and the supporting equipment, while InnoVEX introduces younger companies working on the next application.

COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2027

COMPUTEX 2027 gives Physical AI more room, opening TWTC Hall 1 in full and expanding the robotics and technology experience zones. Industrial robots, autonomous mobile robots and smart vehicles bring the computing story into physical operations. InnoVEX will focus on turning AI into products, with founders meeting venture capital, corporate investors and technology partners through pitch competitions, forums and business matchmaking. The direction makes robotics sourcing and startup partnerships a larger part of the Taipei trip.

  • A robotics sourcing brief belongs at TWTC Hall 1, where the Physical AI expansion brings industrial robots, autonomous mobile robots and mobility applications together.
  • For a startup investment brief, use InnoVEX to connect the pitch and matchmaking program with the semiconductor and computing suppliers represented at COMPUTEX.
  • Treat power and cooling as part of the AI server discussion: the COMPUTEX mix includes both computing vendors and infrastructure specialists such as Schneider Electric.

Exhibiting

The 2027 booth application requires TAITRA membership and acceptance of the show’s participation terms. A robotics supplier should position its offer within the expanded Physical AI program; a computing or infrastructure vendor can address system builders and international technology buyers. InnoVEX provides a separate startup context for pitching and business matchmaking.
