Its partnership with the Department for Education gives the Manchester gathering a particular role: connecting national policy with the people who fund, design and operate learning environments. The 2025 show had 196 exhibitors and 172 speakers, and half of its attendees were decision makers.

The exhibition covers the everyday estate as well as major capital projects. Building services, flooring, modular accommodation, security and demographic forecasting sit alongside design and construction expertise. That breadth suits academy trusts and local authorities responsible for both maintaining existing buildings and planning new capacity. In 2026, EdTech UK and the European Universities Estates Congress broaden the discussion to digital infrastructure and university facilities, making the relationship between buildings, technology and institutional planning more prominent.

How it compares

  1. This show: Education Estates® 20265,000
  2. Education Buildings IrelandDublin, every two years

For suppliers serving England and the wider UK education estate, Education Estates combines a national policy audience with a marketplace spanning schools, colleges and universities. It is particularly relevant when the buying process involves estates staff, designers and construction partners together. A building product supplier can meet those who specify a solution as well as those responsible for operating it.

Learning Places Scotland is the closer fit for work shaped by Scottish policy, councils and the Scottish Government. Its annual Glasgow gathering covers the learning estate from early years to universities, with additional support needs, outdoor learning, retrofit and digital infrastructure among its priorities. Manchester provides a broader UK conversation; Glasgow concentrates attention on Scotland’s delivery environment.

Education Buildings Ireland addresses the Irish market in partnership with the Government of Ireland. The biennial Dublin conference and exhibition spans primary, post-primary, further and higher education. Suppliers pursuing Irish education projects have a more direct geographic fit there. Education Estates is the stronger choice when a company needs contact across the UK school and university estate, while its new specialist programs give digital infrastructure and higher education suppliers a more defined place in the event.

Education Estates is the right trip for education property teams and suppliers who need to connect UK policy, building specification and day-to-day estate management.

Education Estates® 2026

Education Estates 2026 adds EdTech UK, focused on the intersection of education technology and infrastructure, and the European Universities Estates Congress, dedicated to university real estate and facilities. These additions bring digital learning infrastructure and higher education estates into clearer focus alongside the established schools and colleges program. The Future Leaders Programme, previously called Developing Future Talent, also gives students, graduates and new starters a route into the education-estates community.

  • For a school new-build or refurbishment project, use inTEC Education’s stand to connect the building specification with ICT infrastructure, connectivity and DfE user acceptance testing.
  • School-place planners can compare Edge Analytics’ demographic and SEND forecasting with the accommodation and building solutions elsewhere in the exhibition.
  • University estates teams should include the European Universities Estates Congress in their program; its facilities and real-estate focus is more specific than the wider education-estates discussions.

Exhibiting

The shell scheme combines walling, carpet, lighting, power and a fascia, making it suitable for suppliers presenting finishes, building services or consultancy without a bespoke stand build. Exhibitor packages include a basic directory entry and event guide listing. The premium package adds an enhanced profile and an interchangeable conference delegate pass, useful when technical and commercial colleagues share conference coverage.
