Turkish growers, packers and exporters take stands alongside suppliers of packaging, cold storage, logistics, irrigation and seedlings, and they meet importers, wholesalers and retail-chain buyers who come mainly from Europe, the UK, Russia, the Balkans and the Middle East. Since 2025 the fair has run together with Interfood Eurasia, which covers frozen, freeze-dried, dried and canned products, juices and sauces, so a buyer can source fresh and processed produce on one trip.
Antexpo launched the fair in Antalya in 2018 and moved it to Fuar İzmir in 2024, next to the Aegean growing and export region. The first Izmir show had 214 exhibitors and 13,983 visitors, 3,842 of them from abroad, from 55 countries. In 2026 the organizer reported more than 580 foreign buyers from over 80 countries, and it measures the show's progress mainly by that number.

Fruit Logistica in Berlin each February is where the global fresh produce trade meets, with about 2,600 exhibitors, and Fruit Attraction in Madrid had 2,485 exhibitors in 2025. Turkish exporters go to both, but there they are one national group among dozens. Interfresh Eurasia is a fraction of that size and almost entirely Turkish on the supply side, which is what a buyer wants when the task is to compare many Turkish suppliers in three days.
Freskon in Thessaloniki is the nearest comparison in size: a fruit and vegetable fair of about 230 exhibitors held in April, with Greek supply. Buyers who source from both countries can cover Greece in spring and Türkiye in September.
Within Türkiye, AGROEXPO Eurasia uses the same Izmir fairground every February and had 426 exhibitors in 2026, and GROWTECH Antalya had 725 in 2025. Both are farming shows where growers buy machinery, inputs and greenhouse technology, so a supplier selling to producers meets more of them there. Interfresh is the better stand for companies selling to exporters and for exporters who want to be seen by foreign buyers. Worldfood Istanbul covers packaged food across all categories, with 1,345 exhibitors in 2025, and suits buyers whose range goes well beyond fruit and vegetables.
The right trip for importers and retail-chain buyers who source fresh or processed fruit and vegetables from Türkiye and want to meet many Turkish growers and exporters in one place.
Who exhibits
Most exhibitors are Turkish producers, packers and exporters of fresh fruit and vegetables, joined by a packaging and machinery section and by suppliers of cold storage, irrigation, seedlings and plant nutrition. The 2025 show had 158 exhibiting companies. Partner-country groups add foreign supply: in 2026 Northern Cyprus brought produce companies such as Cypfruvex, Kalyoncu Dış Ticaret and Dilekler Group, along with women's cooperatives. Companies from Germany, Russia, Greece, the Netherlands, Spain and China have also taken their own stands.

Interfresh Eurasia 2027
The 2027 show returns to Fuar İzmir and again runs together with Interfood Eurasia. It follows a 2026 show at which the organizer reported more than 580 foreign buyers from over 80 countries and planned more than 1,300 one-to-one business meetings, with Northern Cyprus as partner country and Denizli as partner city.
Before the 2026 show the organizer raised the limited number of international flights into Izmir with the city and its venue operator. The exporters' associations that backed the move from Antalya said they would take the issue up with the local administration, and the 2027 show is announced for Izmir.
- Book flights early and expect a connection: the organizer says visitors from about a third of the countries it draws reach Izmir through Istanbul or Antalya.
- Buyers of frozen, dried, canned or juice products should plan time for the Interfood Eurasia section, which runs under the same roof on the same days.
- The gala dinner on the evening of the opening day brings exhibitors and invited buyers together outside the halls; ask an exhibitor or the organizer for an invitation.
Exhibiting
Stands are booked directly with the organizer through the show website. Exhibitors tend to rebook: by January 2025, 80 percent of the previous year's exhibitors had already reserved space. A stand pays off mainly for Turkish exporters looking for foreign buyers and for packaging, cold-chain and logistics suppliers who sell to those exporters.
