Its indoor expo grew from 57 exhibiting companies in 2017 to 109 in 2024. The defining attraction is the Live DEMOlition Event, where contractors can test equipment in a simulated demolition environment and learn handling and maintenance from manufacturers.
That outdoor program began in 2018 and featured 29 exhibitors with 89 pieces of equipment and attachments in 2025. It gives a contractor a different kind of conversation from a static display: how a machine behaves, how an attachment works, and what operators need to know. The National Demolition Association pairs that equipment focus with education and an association community spanning demolition contractors, general contractors and civil engineers. The result is a specialist convention for the demolition business, with an expo built around its practical needs.
How it compares
- World of ConcreteLas Vegas, 47K
- This show: Demolition Fort WorthFort Worth, 1,128
- CONEXPO-CON/AGGLas Vegas, every three years
CONEXPO-CON/AGG is the broader equipment trip. Its 2026 show attracted more than 140,000 attendees, and its Las Vegas floor spans earthmoving, aggregates, lifting, hauling and concrete. A demolition company reviewing its whole fleet can compare across those categories there. Held every three years in March, it gathers an international construction market well beyond demolition.
World of Concrete provides another route for firms whose work includes concrete cutting, repair or masonry. The annual January show in Las Vegas drew more than 47,400 registered professionals in 2026, with more than 1,300 exhibiting companies. Demolition and repair sit alongside concrete production, reinforcement and surfaces, making it useful for contractors who sell services across those adjoining trades.
NDA's convention is the more concentrated choice when demolition is the business itself. The appeal lies in putting demolition contractors, equipment suppliers and hands-on testing in the same program. A supplier seeking conversations about shears, crushers or demolition methods has a different audience here from one addressing construction buyers across many trades. For a contractor, the Live DEMOlition Event gives equipment evaluation a practical place in the trip.
The NDA convention is the right trip for demolition contractors who want equipment trials and supplier conversations centered on the work they actually do.
Who exhibits
The supplier mix connects the expo to the machines and attachments used in demolition work. NPK has announced a Fort Worth booth and Live DEMOlition participation; its range includes hydraulic hammers, concrete crushers, material processors, shears and grabs. Kobelco and Volvo also appear among the organizer's sponsors. Those names point to the relationship between base machines and specialist attachments, with the outdoor demo providing a place to discuss handling and maintenance alongside the equipment.

Demolition Fort Worth 2027
Demolition Fort Worth 2027 moves the annual convention to Texas after the Phoenix gathering. NPK has announced both an expo booth and participation in the Live DEMOlition Event, bringing its attachment business into the indoor and outdoor parts of the convention. The move continues the show's traveling format: recent stops have included San Antonio, New Orleans and Phoenix. The combination of an expo, demolition education and equipment testing remains central to the convention's identity.
- If attachments are your main interest, use NPK's presence in both the expo and Live DEMOlition program to compare the discussion at the stand with the equipment in use.
- Bring the operator's handling and maintenance questions into the Live DEMOlition conversation; the program is designed for direct instruction from manufacturers in a simulated demolition environment.
Exhibiting
The indoor expo and Live DEMOlition Event give equipment suppliers two different settings: a stand for commercial conversations and an outdoor setting for hands-on equipment evaluation. The Phoenix booth package included convention and staff badges, but staff badges excluded social events. Suppliers considering Fort Worth should distinguish their expo requirements from any demo participation when discussing a contract with NDA.
