Lower-extremity peripheral artery disease, critical limb ischemia and amputation prevention connect its interventional cardiologists and vascular surgeons with podiatrists, wound care specialists, nurses and cath lab teams. That mix makes the New Orleans conference relevant to the whole care pathway, from screening and foot ulcers to revascularization and follow-up.

The 2026 conference brought together 1,400 medical professionals. Live case broadcasts, discussion with case operators and specialty sessions carry much of the teaching, while industry-sponsored meals and conversations with faculty extend the program beyond the lecture room. The Fellows Course adds cadaver training and hands-on work with vascular technologies. NCVH also covers venous disease, coronary chronic total occlusions and structural heart procedures, but its defining thread remains peripheral intervention and the clinical team responsible for preserving the limb.

How it compares

  1. This show: New Cardiovascular HorizonsNew Orleans, 1,500
  2. The VEINSLas Vegas
  3. VIVALas Vegas

VIVA is the closest comparison for a peripheral vascular specialist. Its Las Vegas program combines late-breaking research, hands-on learning and an international faculty across vascular surgery, interventional cardiology, radiology and vascular medicine. It is a strong choice when the main purpose of the trip is to examine emerging evidence and endovascular techniques across a broad vascular practice. NCVH gives lower-extremity PAD and critical limb ischemia a particularly clear place in the program, with podiatry and wound care alongside intervention.

The VEINS is more concentrated on venous, lymphatic and thrombotic disease. Its case-based program makes sense for a venous practice that wants diagnosis, intervention and long-term management to remain the main discussion. At NCVH, venous care sits within a wider cardiovascular meeting, where arterial disease, threatened limbs and the roles of different clinical professions also shape the conversation.

NCVH’s annual meeting offers a different depth of contact from its own one-day regional meetings. New Orleans brings the specialist tracks, Fellows Course, live cases and industry exhibit hall together. The regional program is the more local option for clinical education; the annual conference is the trip for teams that want to connect those subjects and meet the broader NCVH community.

NCVH fits the limb-preservation team that wants endovascular operators, podiatrists and wound care colleagues in the same clinical conversation.

Who exhibits

The 2026 booth list put Abbott, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Philips, Gore & Associates and Terumo Interventional Systems alongside smaller vascular specialists and care providers. That mix brings devices, imaging and the practical infrastructure of intervention into the same exhibit hall. Companies such as Reflow Medical and Veryan Medical add depth beyond the largest suppliers, while Cardiovascular Institute of the South and Cardiovascular Logistics underline the connection to clinical practice and its business model.

New Cardiovascular Horizons 2027

NCVH 2027 returns to the Roosevelt for its 28th annual conference. The program keeps lower-extremity PAD and critical limb ischemia at its core, with venous disease, coronary chronic total occlusions and structural heart procedures also in scope. Live case broadcasts and specialty-focused education bring the different members of the vascular care team into the discussion. Its New Orleans hotel setting also supports the faculty conversations and industry-sponsored meal sessions that are part of the NCVH experience.

  • Use the live case discussions to follow the exchange between the operator, panel and audience; they connect the lectures to choices made during an intervention.
  • For limb preservation, combine the PAD and CLI teaching with the wound care and podiatry content: NCVH covers both revascularization and the threatened foot.
  • Faculty conversations continue over meals and breaks, making those intervals part of the clinical exchange at NCVH.

Exhibiting

NCVH routes attendees through the Roosevelt exhibit hall toward general session and serves lunch there. This gives vascular device and imaging suppliers contact with the clinical team beyond the operating physician. Booth packages include drape and a name sign; furniture requires separate arrangements. Applications undergo organizer review, and badge and company-profile administration takes place in the Exhibitor Service Center.
