Its Technical Exhibits span McCormick Place’s North and South Halls, with more than 700 companies registered for 2026 and more than 120 first-time exhibitors. Radiologists and imaging scientists attend alongside physicists, technologists, department managers and imaging IT teams. The result is a supplier exhibition where a scanner, a reading workstation and an AI application can be evaluated against the clinical problems discussed in the education program.

The annual meeting reaches beyond equipment purchasing. Recruiters Row brings hospital employers and staffing firms onto the floor, while Educators Row gathers publishers, associations and educational institutions. AI has become a substantial part of the commercial mix: more than 100 companies plan to demonstrate AI and machine learning tools this year. The new Innovation Park places startups, presentations and a Solutions Gallery together in the South Hall, giving emerging imaging businesses a distinct setting within the wider exhibition.

How it compares

European Congress of Radiology is the closest broad alternative for a team focused on European radiology. Vienna combines scientific education and an industry exhibition; the 2026 congress brought together 22,418 participants from 121 countries. It is a natural choice for European clinical networks and companies whose first priority is building relationships in that market. RSNA’s larger supplier exhibition in Chicago is especially useful when the same trip needs to cover imaging systems, software, recruitment and US hospital or practice relationships.

SIIM Annual Meeting concentrates on imaging informatics. Its program addresses PACS, RIS, enterprise imaging, interoperability, cybersecurity and the practical use of AI. That makes it a sharper choice for a PACS administrator or informatics team looking for detailed peer discussion about implementation. RSNA places these software questions alongside the equipment vendors and the radiology subspecialty program, which helps a department considering changes across both its technology and clinical work.

ECR sits in the spring calendar and SIIM in June, while RSNA brings the broader imaging market together toward the end of the year. For suppliers, the choice turns on the people they need to reach: European radiologists, informatics specialists, or the mixed clinical and commercial audience assembled in Chicago.

RSNA is the right trip for radiology teams that need to compare imaging equipment and software while keeping clinical education, recruitment and US market relationships in view.

Who exhibits

Dell Technologies and Microsoft sit in a directory that also includes scanner suppliers, image-management specialists and radiology employers. Barco, Canon Medical Systems and FUJIFILM illustrate the equipment and display side; Aidoc, ScreenPoint Medical and Viz.ai show the range of imaging AI. AbbaDox and Intelerad address operational software. The mix makes RSNA useful to a whole imaging department: the floor connects acquisition, interpretation, workflow and staffing.

RSNA 2026

RSNA 2026 takes the theme “At the Center of Care” into a program that includes radiology leadership, patient-centered breast imaging, mass-casualty response and humanism in interventional radiology. On the exhibit floor, the new Innovation Park brings the Startup Showcase, Innovation Theater and Solutions Gallery together. The South Hall also houses the AI Showcase, while Recruiters Row brings more than 80 recruiting companies. RSNA Conversations joins the Welcome Reception and RSNA After Dark in the social program.

  • Use the South Hall to compare the AI Showcase with the startups and presentations in Innovation Park; these neighboring areas connect established applications with emerging approaches.
  • If the trip includes staffing or training, give Recruiters Row and Educators Row separate time: they serve different needs from the equipment booths.
  • Pair an Innovation Theater presentation with a visit to the Solutions Gallery, where the technologies can be examined before or after the talk.

Exhibiting

Traditional stands, premium inline spaces and the First-Time Exhibitor Pavilion have separate rates, with corner and second-level charges to consider. Country pavilions require both a coordinating organizer and individual company contracts. AI businesses and startups can choose dedicated showcase settings; recruitment and education suppliers have their own rows. A stand suits companies selling directly into radiology departments and practices, with clinical and operational specialists available for substantive demonstrations.
