Its first show in 2025 drew 3,336 visitors from 67 countries and 126 exhibitors. That reach matters for an industry whose feedstock collectors, recycling plants and clothing brands often operate in different markets.

The exhibition concentrates on sorting, shredding, fiber regeneration and the manufacture of textiles from reclaimed materials. Waste managers can compare processing technology, while textile producers and apparel suppliers can assess what the resulting fibers can become. The accompanying conference brings brands and policymakers into those industrial discussions.

In 2026 the show brought more than 169 exhibitors and 71 expert speakers together. Its first co-location with Future Fabrics Expo connected recycling with sustainable materials sourcing; the two events welcomed 5,607 attendees together across both days. The Brussels show is growing around the connection between waste recovery and demand for new textiles.

How it compares

Textiles Recycling Expo USA is the closer counterpart for North American collection networks, brands and textile producers. Its Charlotte program addresses circular business models and the developing EPR landscape, while the Brussels event is rooted in European textile waste recovery and supply-chain collaboration. Companies working on both continents can use the two meetings to reach different regional partners without changing their technical focus.

For a wider capital investment survey, ITMA brings textile and garment manufacturing into one much larger market. ITMA 2023 had 1,709 exhibitors, spanning materials, machinery and production processes. Its four-year cycle makes it useful for comparing recycling with the rest of a factory investment plan. The Brussels expo gives collectors, recyclers and regenerated-fiber suppliers a more concentrated conversation than a full manufacturing fair.

Future Fabrics Expo added a different kind of buyer contact when it ran alongside the recycling show in 2026: sustainable materials and fabric sourcing. That connection is especially relevant for brands looking beyond waste disposal toward usable textile inputs. Brussels is the stronger fit when the question runs from collecting and separating discarded textiles to finding an industrial outlet for the recovered material.

A focused trip for recyclers, textile producers and brands that need to connect recovered textile feedstock with processing technology and demand for new fibers.

Who exhibits

Valvan, Pellenc Selective Technologies and Matoha bring sorting and material identification into the discussion, while Textechno addresses the quality of recycled fibers. Circ, Circulose and Purfi sit alongside suppliers such as GEA, Axens and Indorama Ventures. The mix extends beyond waste handling: it connects process equipment, fiber regeneration, testing and textile production. Buyers can compare the steps between a discarded garment and a material that a manufacturer can use. That makes the links between the different stages visible.

Textiles Recycling Expo 2027

For 2027, Textiles Recycling Expo moves to Hall 5 at Brussels Expo, giving the growing exhibition more space. The change follows the 2026 meeting, which brought together more than 169 exhibitors and a conference with 71 expert speakers. That show also introduced the Textiles Recycling Awards and the Reju VIP Lounge. The next Brussels gathering keeps the exhibition and conference together, with sorting, recycling technologies and reclaimed materials at the center of the program.

  • Compare feedstock preparation with fiber testing: Valvan’s sorting and trim removal and Textechno’s recycled-fiber instruments address different stages of the same recycling process.
  • The official networking party brings exhibitors and visitors together beyond the show floor, extending the conversation between waste suppliers, recyclers and textile users.

Exhibiting

AMI offers stand packages with website listings and marketing support included. The most relevant exhibitors supply collection, sorting, shredding, recycling or reclaimed textile materials. Conference proposals give process developers a separate route to explain their technology to the recycling supply chain.
