The method

Three passes. Ten business days.

HallBrief is a research pipeline with an analyst at the wheel — built to evaluate the entire published company universe around your event, not a hand-picked sample.

The timeline

DayStageWhat happens
D0IntakeStructured intake form + 30-minute call: ICP, personas, show objectives, CRM export, exclusions.
D1–2Universe ScanEvery published company — exhibitors, sponsors, speakers' employers — collected, normalized, deduplicated, domain-matched. CRM overlay applied.
D3–5ScoringFull-universe qualification against your rubric. Every score carries its evidence; no evidence, no claim. Output: the Priority Map — Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3 / Disqualified, with rationale.
D6–8Deep researchThe top 10–25% get focused research from their public footprint: initiatives, buying signals, personas, proof points, conversation angles. An analyst verifies every Tier 1 account.
D9AssemblyShow Brief deck, one-page Account Briefs, Show Shortlist, Messaging Kit, CRM-ready file.
D10BriefingLive 60-minute session with your sales team. One consolidated revision follows.

Sourcing & ethics

This is a differentiator, not fine print. HallBrief works from permitted public, licensed, and client-provided event signals — published exhibitor and sponsor pages, public company websites, press releases, licensed enrichment data used under its terms, and data you provide that you have the right to share.

  • We do not access logged-in event portals without written permission.
  • We do not resell raw directories, and your data is never pooled across clients.
  • We respect technical controls — no CAPTCHA bypass, no circumvention, no fake accounts.
  • Person-level data is used only for your project, with a stated retention period.

Attendance-confidence labels

Every person in a HallBrief deliverable carries one of four labels — contractual language, not decoration:

LabelMeaning
● ConfirmedListed by the organizer, named booth staff, client-provided registration, or public self-confirmation.
● Strong signalSpeaker, panelist, named company representative, or event-specific public announcement.
● Probable representativeRelevant person at a company confirmed to be present — no direct individual evidence.
○ Target contactStrong persona fit at the company. No claim that this person will attend.
The integrity rule:we never present an inferred person as a confirmed attendee. If a vendor promises you a “list of attending decision-makers,” ask to see the evidence column.

Quality gates

  • ≥95% of Tier 1 accounts are human-verified before delivery.
  • Material factual correction rate under 5%, tracked per engagement.
  • Every important claim carries a source and retrieval date.
  • Scoring rubrics are regression-tested against a labeled evaluation set before any change ships.
