The July 2026 show had 143 exhibitors, spanning fabrics, yarns, leather, accessories, artwork, clothing production and sustainable materials. Its value lies in bringing those disciplines together for the people developing a collection: a print can lead to a fabric discussion, then to the supplier capable of producing it.

The organizer selects exhibitors through an application process. Alongside sourcing, PV offers Fashion Information Meetings, a 3D Index for collection samples and the a better way program for suppliers' responsible practices. Buyers, stylists and product development teams get a material-led view of the season, with the American market at the center. January's focus is Spring-Summer 2028, placing the show early in the development cycle for brands looking beyond their immediate buying season.

How it compares

  1. Première Vision ParisParis, twice a year
  2. Texworld New York CityNew York, twice a year
  3. This show: New York Première VisionNew York, twice a year

Texworld New York City is the closest comparison for a team sourcing in Manhattan. Its Javits program brings together hundreds of international mills and suppliers, with Apparel Sourcing for garment manufacturing and Printsource for original textile and surface artwork. That breadth makes it useful when the brief crosses fabric procurement, private label production and print design. PV New York concentrates the same trip around selected materials, creative studios and seasonal direction. The two January shows overlap, so they can serve different parts of one sourcing brief.

For a wider global search, Première Vision Paris provides a much larger supplier selection: its September 2026 list exceeded 900 exhibitors. Paris also adds specialist areas such as Smart Creation, bag and footwear materials, and Maison d'Exceptions. It suits teams whose collection demands a deep survey across several material disciplines and a supplier network beyond North America. New York makes more sense for US teams seeking PV's fabric and design approach close to their own market, or suppliers seeking conversations with American fashion buyers. The choice is between the scope of the sourcing brief and the practicality of a focused local visit.

PV New York is the right trip for American fashion teams developing collections through distinctive fabrics, textile artwork and direct conversations with selected international suppliers.

Who exhibits

The July mix paired mills and material specialists with creative studios: Gratacós and 6Dias appeared alongside Abby Lichtman Design, Créations Robert Vernet and Amanda Kelly. Ecopel and Emelda Leather added specialist material choices, while ABM Fashion and apparel producers extended the sourcing conversation into production. The combination rewards buyers who need the fabric and its visual treatment to work together, connecting print design, cloth selection and manufacturing in one visit.

New York Première Vision 2027

PV New York 2027 turns to Spring-Summer 2028, bringing the next collection cycle into focus for American fashion teams. Its Tribeca setting continues the show's format of selected suppliers and creative materials, supported by seasonal fashion information and supplier meetings. For designers, the trip is an opportunity to connect a collection's visual direction with the fabrics and production partners needed to realize it. The overlapping Texworld program gives sourcing teams a complementary supplier search in the same city.

  • Use the 3D Index to connect a collection sample with its supplier, then compare the fabric and print possibilities together.
  • Ask each mill about its own minimum orders and sample policy before settling on a development route. Order minimums at PV vary by supplier.
  • For responsible materials, pair the a better way signage with a discussion of the supplier's practices and the specific collection you are developing.
