In 2026, it welcomed more than 14,000 visitors from 74 countries and brought 120 hosted buyers into its matchmaking program. Its commercial appeal spans the domestic distribution network and the export ambitions of Brazilian producers.
The floor combines packaged foods and beverages with organic products, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and foodservice technology. Brazilian regional products sit alongside imported specialties and country pavilions. Halal certification, private label, ice cream, and restaurant management have their own place in the program, giving buyers a reason to look beyond their usual category. Koelnmesse's Brazilian subsidiary organizes the show within the international Anuga network; its focus remains the suppliers and purchasing channels serving Brazil.
How it compares
- This show: Anuga Select BrazilSão Paulo
- APAS SHOWSão Paulo
- AnugaCologne, every two years
For supermarket account development in Brazil, APAS SHOW is the most direct comparison. Its São Paulo event brought together 900 exhibitors and 78,956 unique visitors in 2026. The supermarket association's congress and exhibition put food retail at the center of the conversation. A supplier concentrating on retail chains, store operations, and shelf space has a clear reason to choose it.
Anuga Select Brazil gives foodservice, hospitality, importers, and regional producers more room in the same buying trip. Its matchmaking extends across supermarket, hotel, and distribution channels, while the Halal Zone and organic products connect commercial sourcing with certification and product differentiation. This is useful when the objective crosses supermarket, hospitality, and import channels.
Anuga in Cologne serves a broader international sourcing agenda. The biennial October show had 8,015 exhibitors in 2025 and brings the world's food categories together at a substantially larger scale. It is the stronger trip for a supplier building a global distributor network or a buyer surveying international ranges. Brazil's annual April show offers a more concentrated setting for discussing Brazilian supply, local distribution, and the products suited to restaurants and retailers in this market.
Anuga Select Brazil suits food and beverage suppliers building Brazilian retail and foodservice distribution while testing export demand.
Who exhibits
Badia Spices, Espírito Cacau, and Netto Alimentos illustrate the range from retail seasonings and chocolate to ingredients for professional kitchens. PDV Legal adds point-of-sale software, while Kawan Food brings frozen pastry from Malaysia and Hub Salt represents Pakistani salt products. The mix puts brands, ingredients, and operating tools on the same floor. Organic products, açaí, cachaça, and Halal certification give Brazilian specialties and differentiated ranges a visible role alongside international suppliers.

Anuga Select Brazil 2027
Anuga Select Brazil 2027 returns for its eighth show with an exhibitor mix spanning Brazilian specialties, imported foods, and foodservice tools. The current plan includes Halal Zone by Fambras, Atmosfera Orgânica by Organis, Chefs Brasil, a cooking show, and country pavilions. It follows a 2026 program that introduced the Halal Forum and Innovation Trend Awards, alongside restaurant-management discussions and the CLASH ice cream conference.
- For certified food sourcing, combine the Halal Zone by Fambras with the organic suppliers around Atmosfera Orgânica by Organis; these are distinct buying groups on the Anuga floor.
- Foodservice buyers can pair Netto Alimentos and PDV Legal with the Chefs Brasil and Cooking Show areas to compare ingredients, operating systems, and preparation uses.
- Use the Anuga matchmaking program to reach buyers across supermarket, hotel, and distribution channels; participation is included for exhibitors.
Exhibiting
Raw space and several stand construction packages are available, with municipal, energy, media, and cleaning charges added to the participation budget. Stand plans require technical approval and local engineering documentation. Overseas food suppliers should work through the We Take Care import support before shipping samples, especially animal products and dairy. The format pays off for suppliers serving multiple Brazilian buying channels and able to handle the local import and distribution requirements.
