EXPOCOMER is most useful when the commercial question crosses product categories: finding an importer, developing a distributor relationship or comparing suppliers from several countries. Food and drink buyers with a more defined category brief should also consider Alimentec in Bogotá. Its June fair concentrates on HORECA, retail and large-scale distribution, with dairy, meat, bakery, beverages and foodservice sectors. In 2026 it brought together 665 exhibitors. That offers a deeper food industry setting; EXPOCOMER combines food sourcing with broader merchandise and regional trade contacts.

For a transport or supply-chain assignment, EXPO LOGÍSTICA PANAMÁ puts cargo agents, consolidators, ports, customs and transport providers at the center of the visit. It shares the April 2027 setting with EXPOCOMER, allowing an import or export discussion to be followed by a conversation about moving the goods. EXPO TECH is the more direct destination for enterprise digital transformation, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. These neighboring fairs complement EXPOCOMER: a mixed-sector distributor gains from the combination, while a specialist can concentrate on the program and exhibitors closest to the purchasing decision.

EXPOCOMER suits suppliers and importers building distribution relationships across Panama, Central America and the Caribbean in several product categories.

Who exhibits

Food and drink sit beside textiles and electronics, but national and regional pavilions are as revealing as the product categories. In 2026, Toledano, Ecotopia Teak, Madure Honey Honey Rum Liqueur and Café Palo Alto represented Panamanian businesses on the floor. Tropicali and Panamá Gourmet Food appeared in the SIECA stand, while Fecamco hosted D´Doria and specialty coffee producer Príncipe de Tizingal. The mix brings established suppliers and emerging exporters into the same commercial setting.

EXPOCOMER 2027

EXPOCOMER 2027 remains part of CCIAP’s joint trade, logistics, energy and technology program. Expo Turismo Internacional is moving to its own date and identity, giving tourism a separate commercial setting. The April program will bring multisector business rounds together with technology innovation forums and energy-transition discussions. Sustainability is a central direction for the organizers, following the introduction of digital registration and access in 2026.
